YOUTH AND FAMILIES ADVOCACY (YAFA)

YAFA is Blank Canvas’ response as we journey alongside young people and respond to the barriers which prevent them from flourishing.

The YAFA programme is available for any young person in Redcar, and seeks to work with the families of the young person and the young people themselves, to identify areas of bespoke support, that will seek to equip young people and their families with the skills to succeed.

From 1:1 mentoring and coaching, to educational intervention, creating support plans with clear goals and hopes or working with parents and carers in their support of a young person.
