Green Acres Mission Week

We welcomed a wonderful team from Green Acres Baptist Church in March

It was their second time spending a week in Redcar, bringing energy, joy and faith into the various different Blank Canvas spaces.

The team threw themselves into all the week held: Youth Clubs, Drop-In's and were able to spend three consecutive days dropping into Sacred Heart school, where they hosted six lunchtime spaces for students.

What we see following this is a great increase in the number of students from the school attending Blank Canvas activities and the weekly relationships that the staff team have established through lunch time spaces, now overflowing into our safe spaces, what an impact!

In amongst the joys of learning pickleball, eating parmos and endless fish and chips, we are celebrating the immediate fruit from the week and as always are thankful our partnership with UK/USA Ministries and Green Acres.
